PRP / Exosomes Treatments

What is PRP (Platlet Rich Plasma)?

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) or Platelet Rich Growth Factors (GF’s)
The history of PRP and its concepts date back to the 1970’s when hematologist used the platelets for transfusion in patients with low blood platelet count (thrombocytopenia). PRP is being used in various medical fields for different modalities predominantly in the musculoskeletal field for sports injuries. Today, PRP is commonly used in the therapies which include tissue regeneration, wound healing, scar revision, skin rejuvenation and alopecia.

In the aesthetics and dermatology fields, studies have shown that PRP can stimulate human dermal fibroblast proliferation and generate collagen synthesis and even regenerate new blood vessels. PRP can be used alone or in combination with other techniques which can enhance the quality of the skin and even stimulate and generate hair regrowth.

The PRP process involves taking blood from a patient using a proprietary procedure where the plasma and growth factors are extracted. These growth factors can be used in combination with micro-needling which enhances the benefits by creating micro-trauma to the area of concern.

Great advancements have been achieved recently with special processing that provides optimum amounts of up to 40 times the potency which increase the success of its treatments.
