Microneedling (also known as Collagen Induction Therapy) uses fine needles to create hundreds of tiny, invisible puncture wounds in the top of layer of the skin. These micro-injuries stimulate the body’s natural wound healing processes. As a result, the skin experiences increases in skin cell turnover, collagen production, and elastin production. Therefore, it both reverses and prevents signs of aging.
